Naranjo White Water Rafting

Brace yourself for an intense, high-adrenaline rafting experience on the Naranjo River. This adventure is designed for seasoned paddlers looking for a thrilling challenge.

​

Your journey begins with a 1.5-hour scenic drive through the mountains of Quepos before arriving at the river put-in. After a safety briefing from expert guides, you’ll suit up and take on steep drops, jungle gorges, and Class III rapids that will put your skills to the test.

​

After conquering the rapids, unwind with a homemade Costa Rican lunch before heading back in comfortable transportation.

​

Minimum age: 10 years. Participants should be physically fit.

 

Available only during the rainy season (May to December).

"El Chorro" Extreme White Water Rafting

​

Take on one of the most intense and thrilling rafting experiences in Costa Rica on the upper Naranjo River. Known as "El Chorro" or "Jet Gorge," this Class IV rafting adventure pushes the limits with powerful rapids and narrow canyon passages.

​

Located 1.5 hours from Jaco, this dry-season rafting tour offers an extreme challenge, with rapids that can reach Class V during the rainy season. No prior rafting experience is required, but participants must be in excellent physical condition.

​

The adventure lasts about 4 hours, including round-trip transportation to and from the Quepos-Manuel Antonio area.

 

After the adrenaline rush, enjoy snacks and refreshments before heading back.

​

Minimum age: 16 years.

 

Available only from January to May due to weather conditions.
