You'll need an Uber and good shoes for this one. A 10-minute drive from Jaco toward Herradura, and slightly off the beaten path. Walk along a relatively dry riverbed for 20-30 minutes until you reach a magical set of falls and refreshing natural pools.

Every Thursday and Friday, local vendors converge just blocks from the villa to collaboratively curate our community market. Bursting with an array of native Costa Rican fruits and vegetables, it offers a delightful experience for those seeking a true taste of Costa Rica. The market boasts an abundance of organic options and features an exceptional meat vendor, ensuring an authentic farm-to-table experience.

Every Sunday, dedicated local conservationists in the neighboring town of Esterillos lead efforts to combat the decline in sea turtles. Join them on the beach, don a glove, and contribute to the release of these adorable creatures onto the shore, allowing them to safely navigate their way to the ocean.

Every Saturday at 4:30 PM the most skillful and daring surfers throw down in a weekly surf competition at the infamous Hermosa Beach only 10 minutes from Jaco. Head to Vida Hermosa for the best seats, food, and drinks in the area.
